Alex Makeev is a pianist, guitarist, percussionist, and arranger/composer. He has won the 47th annual Downbeat Student Big Band Arrangement Competition and the Jazz at the Ballroom scholarship for piano. His music uses elements of many different styles, including jazz, indie, rock, hip hop and pop!
