Trumpeter Greg Grocholski, nicknamed “Freddie” at the Lipinski Academy in Poland for his striking musical resemblance to Freddie Hubbard, leads the hard bop quintet “The Bridge.” Catch them at TLT for two sets celebrating Hubbard’s most popular hits, hidden gems, and a few Polish-inspired surprises!

About the event
While trumpeter Greg Grocholski was finishing his degree at the Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland, his fellow students and faculty all called him "Freddie" because of his obsession with, and how much he sounded like, the great Freddie Hubbard. Greg now fronts the hard bop quintet "The Bridge". They will be playing two distinct sets at TLT, both focusing (of course) on the music of Freddie Hubbard, from popular hits to less well-known gems. The group came together over shared ties to Poland, so expect a few originals and Polish melodies thrown in as well!
