Our Story
Twin Lotus Thai opened its doors to the public as a Thai Restaurant on March 3, 2022.
Although we enjoyed the business as an Asian restaurant, we knew that we wanted to provide more for our customers.
In April 2022, we began featuring music nights on the weekends with keyboard and vocals. These proved to be so wildly successful, by the summer of 2022 we were featuring trios, which led to instrumental groups, quartets, and quintets, thematic music presentations, and finally a regular offering of weekend performance nights of a variety of different types of music.
We began Two Tune Thursdays in 2023, which is an open vocal night for aspiring vocalists every Thursday, and Fourth Tuesday Poetry, which features prominent regional poets every fourth Tuesday of the month.
When the opportunity arose to inhabit the commercial space next door, we jumped at the chance. We call it THE ANNEX, and we look forward to working with our customers, clients, musicians, artists, and anybody else, to develop this space into a unique cultural venue in Sacramento.

Rabbit Hole Reader's Theater

Rabbit Hole Readers Theater is a group created for and about theatre lovers.
Their purpose is to read plays--some old, some new, some in the very early stages of development.
Come join Richard Broadhurst and Loren Taylor and company for a great evening of reader's theater!

Some photos of the ANNEX; A black box that can suit the needs of many functions; a dinner party, birthday party, wedding reception, seminar, awards ceremony, meetings, concerts, promo events, poetry readings, plays, gatherings of many types, dance parties and classes, exercise classes, DJ events, club meeting space, craft faires, art exhibits, yoga classes, and many more! The space is 1200 sq/ft with two restrooms, a small changing/storage area, and a washroom. Amenities include 100 chairs, tables, PA, sound system equipped for any band, hookups for digital recordings for musical groups, WiFi, and access to Twin Lotus Thai for catering.
